Kathe and I have started a new blog, devoted to the coffee shacks of the Pacific Northwest, or anyway of the mid-Willamette Valley.
Every time we stop at a new coffee shack, with the owner's permission we photograph the building. We also collect any punchcards or other memorabilia. And we have a mocha, and review it for quality.
One day, we might just do the coffee table book we've been talking about for years, but in the meantime we've got the blog, and some digital pictures to put on it.

Fryday, April 22,2005...
blogger obviously uneducated, ignorant, biased, POLITICALLY motivated (amusingly evil); questionable integrity, pathetically determined to print lies instead of talking directly to the accused to GET THE TRUTH
stand by....
i wonder when he is going to paint his house and clean his porch
A comment that carries the full weight and authority of the poster's good name....
Wow, was there political content in that post? I missed it completely!
have a nice trip in life anyway, despite your guilt and denial with certain things
including the last word
which obviously goes wwaaayyy over your head..
from those of us who overcompensate from your mistakes
which is no surprise
Boy, Anonymous really hates coffee!
I'm not fond of the stuff myself, but geez, to each his own. Hey, at least it generated comments!
Wait - it's dated April 22, 2005 on an imaginary day of the week. I think you're getting e-mail from an alternate universe. Spooky.
Worse than spooky. I think there's a door or something between that universe and our own. May have to try exorcism if it doesn't close up by itself.
I took a look at 22 April 2005 and found a post I had made about an anonymous letter I'd received back then.
I'd quite forgotten about the incident, but apparently the author of the letter never had.
No idea what's going on with that. Clearly, though, it has nothing to do with coffee shacks.
